🌍 Fragrance Tips
Q: How do I make my perfume last longer?
Apply on pulse points (wrists, neck, behind ears) and layer with unscented lotion. Avoid rubbing wrists together — let the scent settle naturally.
Q: Can I wear perfume in hot weather?
Absolutely! Just go for lighter, fresher notes like citrus, aquatic, or floral for summer days.
1. Apply to Pulse Points
Your body heat helps amplify scent. Best spots:
• Wrists
• Neck
• Behind ears
• Inside elbows
• Back of knees (especially in dresses)
2. Don’t Rub Your Wrists
After spraying, avoid rubbing wrists together — it breaks the fragrance structure and shortens longevity. Let it dry naturally.
3. Layer with lotion
Moisturized skin holds fragrance better. Apply lotion or body oil before your perfume to help lock in the scent.
4. Store Perfume Correctly
Keep your fragrances in a cool, dark place. Avoid direct sunlight, humidity, or heat (don’t store in the bathroom) — it can degrade the scent.
5. Know Your Fragrance Families
Helps you choose or gift wisely:
• Floral: Romantic, soft (e.g. rose, jasmine)
• Woody: Warm, elegant (e.g. sandalwood, cedar)
• Oriental/Amber: Spicy, rich, seductive
• Fresh: Clean, citrusy, energizing
• Gourmand: Sweet, edible (e.g. vanilla, caramel)
6. Spray on Hair & Clothes (Lightly)
Hair holds scent well, but avoid alcohol-heavy perfumes directly on it. Light mist on clothes can give all-day scent.
7. Match the Mood or Season
• Summer: Light, fresh, aquatic or citrus scents
• Winter: Deep, spicy, woody, and amber blends
• Evening: Bold, intense, sensual
• Daytime: Light, clean, floral
8. Use a Fragrance Wardrobe
Just like outfits — change your scent for occasion, mood, or weather. This helps preserve your expensive perfumes too!
9. Apply Right After a Shower
Clean, warm skin helps perfume absorb and last longer. Pat dry, apply lotion, then fragrance.
10. Test Before Buying
Always try a sample first — let it develop on your skin over a few hours. Fragrances evolve in 3 stages (top, heart, and base notes).
